Our founding Partner, Janet Sinden, created her then eponymous firm having worked in Hastings for many years prior. She brought a clarity of thought to a legal world that at the time saw firms supplying general services to all. By focusing on the individual and their needs in respect of Residential Conveyancing, Wills, Powers of Attorney and Probate, Janet and her team led the way in not trying to be “all things to all people”, but rather providing a specialist service to those who needed it and carefully signposting clients to other local solicitors in areas where we did not have expertise.
In 2022, Christopher Bean, purchased the firm and became Senior Partner. With 30 years of experience in the services we offer, Christopher has previously held prominent roles, heading up these areas of law in leading solicitors across the South East. For the last two decades, he has been working in and around Hastings and Hailsham.
2023 saw the firm open its second office in Hailsham town centre, within the fabulous, listed building, The Cortlandt.
2025 saw the firm rebrand to its current name of Chirstopher Bean Solicitors.
Centrally based in the Hastings and Hailsham town centres, our offices are accessible via private and public transport. Our experienced team benefit from the latest technology to support them in delivering a first-class legal service. But above all, our clients benefit from their skills and experience.
